PJO Educational Camps & Programs
Join us for some jazz this summer by attending PJO Jazz Week or PJO Jazz Jump Start!
The Philadelphia Jazz Orchestra has been offering summer jazz educational programs since 2007! We currently offer two options for inspiring young jazz musicians! For students entering grades 6-8 and grades 9-12, we offer several levels of "PJO Jazz Week"! For younger students entering grades 4-7, we offer "PJO Jazz Jump Start"!
PJO Jazz Week
PJO Jazz Week is designed for students entering grades 6-8 and for students entering grades 9-12. There are two separate sessions each summer that are completely independent of each other, however students may attend both sessions for a discounted rate! PJO Jazz Week is a full day program that runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm. This year's dates are listed below!
PJO Jazz Week #1: Sunday, June 29 - Thursday, July 3
PJO Jazz Week #2: Monday, July 28 - Friday, August 1

PJO Jazz Jump Start
PJO Jazz Jump Start is designed for students entering grades 4-7 and is an introductory program to expose younger students to jazz performance. There are two separate sessions each summer that are completely independent of each other, however students may attend both sessions for a discounted rate! PJO Jazz Jump Start is a half day program that runs from 8:30am to 12:00pm. This year's dates are listed below!
PJO Jazz Jump Start Session #1: Sunday, June 29 - Thursday, July 3
PJO Jazz Jump Start Session #2: Monday, July 28 - Friday, August 1
